Executive Board Positions
If you are interested in any listed PEP Club Executive Board positions, please email your name, child’s name, professor, and position you are interested in. *A candidate for President or VP of Finance should have attended a minimum of two PEP Club meetings for the current year and served on at least one Dean position. The Executive Board Positions are elected positions and will be voted on during Open House on May 6, 2025.
President - Coordinate the work of officers of the association, preside at all meetings of the association and the Executive Board, be a member of all committees, be an authorized signer on financial accounts, and ensure coordination with the principal on all events, flyers and/or activities, keep website updated, etc.
Executive Vice President - Perform the duties of the president in their absence or disability. Assist in fundraising with the VP of Fundraising, make and distribute copies of flyers, coordinate volunteers.
Recording Secretary - Create the agenda for all meetings. Keep an accurate record of the proceeding of all meetings, prepare and present minutes of the previous month’s minutes for approval, track all unfinished business in coordination with the President.
VP of Finance - Prepare the annual budget, maintain accurate record of deposits and expenditures of the association, pay approved bills, be an authorized signer on account at financial institutions, present a Treasurer's report showing the balance, all activities of income, expenditure, and adjustments or changes at all meetings of the association, balance monthly bank statement with ledger, provide financials to auditor for bi-annual audits.
VP of Fundraising - Preside over all fundraising, coordinate all aspects of potential fundraising, schedule, delivery dates, etc.
VP of Spirit Wear - Coordinates sale of spirit wear and university shirts. Fills all orders throughout the year.
Auditor - Obtains financial books bi-annually for audit, presents report to board, assists in tax returns, etc.
Parlimentarian - Advises officers of bylaws & procedures, keeps meetings on task, assists in vote tallying

Family Fun Nights - Contacts local establishments and sets up monthly Family Fun Nights
University Parents - Coordinates all University Parents, organizes University Parent Tea, provides sample letters, and help where needed.
Art Masters - Coordinates all Art Master Parents, schedules use of Art Room, provides instruction, and help where needed.
Spirit Wear - Assist VP of Spirit Wear with distributing orders.
RINGO's - Chair a committee in setting up, decorating and coordinating volunteers during the 4 RINGO events throughout the year.
Dances - Chair a committee in deciding theme, decorating, coordinating volunteers, etc.
Public Relations - Create Social Media forums and updates with events, news, happenings at Rhodes.
Book Fairs - Sets up Book Fairs, creates schedules, coordinates volunteers, etc.)
Red Ribbon Week - Schedule RRW assembly, decorate campus, etc.
Veteran's Event - Decorate, set up and clean up continental breakfast.
Historian - Takes photos at all events for Memory Book. Send event info to the district and/or Chino Champion.
Staff Appreciation - Chair a committee to come up with ideas to show staff appreciation throughout the year and coordinate Staff Appreciation week in May.
Holiday Boutique - Coordinate with vendors, set up/take down tables in the Bookery for the Boutique.
Kindness Week - Work with staff on activities, help with decor, and help fundraise for a charity or a cause.
Extra Events - Chair a committee to coordinate events, decorate, obtain volunteers, etc.
